Medicine Hat is a great place. They make some of the best diner food I've ever tasted. The people are also wonderful.

there is a Medicine Hat in the U.S. It's an Indian name for the colored spot some appaloosa horses have on the top of their heads. The Indians thought that marking was special and called it a 'medicine hat'

There's some place in Arizona called Reddish Knob. Of the really stupid names of quadrangles on USGS maps, Reddish Knob is my very favorite.
