There oughta be a law

kodalaiGood lord! How did "early December" turn into "two weeks until Christmas" so fast? There oughta be a law.
The good news is, my current contract (which was originally set to run only till the end of December) has been extended to mid, late January. Thus giving me an extended time to make a few decisions. They also want me to go full time for the next few weeks, which is great! in the sense of having some extra cash to cover my Christmas gifts this year, and bad in the sense of not having time to do anything else.
The bad news is, most of the things I had hoped to accomplish towards the end of this year, well... have not been accomplished. The CompTIA exam is still not taken, and the screenplay I'd hoped to write is still not cracked. Well, these were only self-imposed deadlines, nothing has been lost... nothing except time, anyway.
On the domestic front, one of my roommates moved out last week, and I seized the opportunity to move into her room. It's got a much better view, the window opening out over the harbor (instead of onto the walkway! yikes!) but more importantly, I get full signal bars here. :Db
