I really should update this journal more often, maybe make Azrael-style humorous and enlightening entries about How Things Are Done Here. But the truth is, 1) I don't feel like I have the energy lately for anything but work, and 2) I'm really unsure of how much about work I can/should post here, considering it's entirely possible my coworkers and/or bosses could encounter it. Suffice it to say that I'm alive, I still can't speak Japanese, and I miss everyone.

*hugs* Well, the occasional 'still alive' post would be more than welcome. And maybe just lock the post if there's any question?

I love it! I will wear it every day! ... Okay, maybe not that. But whenever I cook. Even if I'm just microwaving something. Because splatter can happen ANY TIME.

You're coming home for Christmas, right? I think that all the Bennetts should come to Boston this year, that's what I think. But I'm a little biased.

heck, Bennetts might have to come to St. Louis instead. It's more centrally located ;-) course I'll be in Philly for Christmas... so maybe that's better. Like a reunion!!

Bennetts in Boston for New Year's - it has points. Especially if Kathy can fly from Toyama to Boston. (It would be less of a climate change than Austin!) And some people will have less vacation time from a new job, or from a retail job that goes bonkers at Christmas time!

huggles, we love you and miss you and are terribly jealous of all the fun things you are no doubt keeping from us in order to surprise us later with a huge "ah ha i did so many cool things!"

and if not, no worries. stories are good, even cold. love you.

If it makes you feel any better, I still can't speak japanese either. I blame global warming though.

I am so sorry it took so long! I spent ages trying to find a padded envelope to send it in before realizing that Japanese post just doesn't do that, and then ages more searching for a good way to secure it in a box. Plus I am just lazy and I suck at getting things done. I'm glad it got back though!
