Woefulness! How did your wet weather gear work out?

It has been raining here too, but we mostly stay out of it. I did have to run from car to classroom in a thunderstorm Monday night, but that doesn't compare to biking in the rain. And we are getting lots of nice (relatively) cool weather out of it.

Arwen waded into every pool in the park today on our walk. And swam.

*Shakes furiously!*

The weather gear actually works out pretty well, mostly... IF I have it with me when the rain starts. :( Also, unfortunately, it doesn't breathe as well as we hoped it would, so unless it's raining rather thoroughly, well... I get just as wet wearing it as not.

And wet. Like a puddle, which is also deep, and wet. Only usually puddles tend to be more shallow than deep. So maybe it really is more like a puddle.

At least it was a Japanese puddle. Also, claiming it is supposed to be shallow in an attempt to parody depth makes it deep if I recall. Nothing is deeper than pretension to be shallow.
