blither and yon

kodalaiFeel free to ignore the last entry, as it owes more to hormones than actual unhappiness.
It seems that last semester's Mondays are being shifted this semester into Tuesdays -- a long, harrowing three-shift day. I couldn't work the afternoon shift my boss had assigned to me, but we managed to work out an alternate schedule. I'm going to come in Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and Friday mornings, for a total of 9 hours per week -- down last semester from 10 hours. (However, I'm working twice as much at my other job -- 8 hours instead of four -- so I'm actually up by an hour, and at the job I like better! My boss has me helping her on the budget and revamp the filing system. It is not as easy as surfing around all day but it does help pass the time so I can't say I mind.)
Just as Mondays were shifted to Tuesdays, Wednesdays have been shifted to Thursday. Somehow instead of having two shifts on Thursday, I have none, nor classes.
This weekend (no more Saturday shifts, thank god!) I'm mostly going to spend socializing. Star Wars game Friday night!
Volunteer thing is fixed. Phone is fixed. Glasses are fixed. Heating is fixed. Passenger side mirror is not fixed, but all things in moderation, as I say.

-Pan-fried salmon with almonds fried in butter and sugar sauce w/ rice and green beans on side
