Jan. 3rd, 2006 07:31 pmYou know, there's this funny mindset I get into where when I don't update for a while, I then feel like I owe a newsy update, and then I don't want to update with little trivial things because there hasn't been a newsy update, and then I don't update. So, whatever.
I'm at my parents' house, in Austin. It's very nice. Nice house, nice city. Family is of course nice. I have some missing for my old Cheltenham friends, but the nice unhurried pace of not really having anywhere to go out to makes for a nice vacation.
On that note, Sol and Zania, I think I am at the "familied out" stage and would like to havecoffee soda with you sometime. Tomorrow is no good because I have a dentist's appointment, and I should warn you, I have a cold right now. But yeah.
Grades came out a few days ago. B+ses, As, nothing spectacular. Grade is at 3.45 which I think is actually a slight drop. Oh well. :\ Since I only have two classes next semester, maybe I can do a stellar job in both of them. Er. Ha ha. How do they calculate Senior Thesis into your GPA, anyway?
Will not even get notification that my JET application arrived (or not) until February. If I don't make it in, I won't be too bummed, but what will I do with myself over the year? :(
Saw Narnia. Was not particularly blown away, except for Peter's suspenders. I ♥ those suspenders. And the blue eyes, and the blond hair. I was so damn disappointed when he lost those suspenders. ♥♥♥
We have not yet had blackeyes and cornbread. I am unsure what this will do to our family luck. I have a few new years' resolutions in here somewhere. Will update as I remember them.
1) I will get myself up and ready to go more than ten minutes before class or work.
2) I will bicycle everywhere that is within range unless I will be out after dark, it is raining, or I have to carry something large and/or heavy.
3)
4) I will eat at least one piece of fruit per day (in ice cream or in sandwiches counts.)
5) I will accept every invitation to go out with my friends that is extended to me, whether or not I feel lazy or unsociable.
