parking woes
Sep. 29th, 2005 02:31 pmOMG, weather, please go back to being cool. D: It is frying baking broiling outside and I have to bike through two miles of shadeless desert flats. I really have to, too. Now that school has started there is no parking, especially not on Pitzer campus, where half the parking lots are closed for construction. Earlier this week I got a parking ticket for a million billion dollars because CMC can't be lowered to share its precious parking spaces with off-campus students who are taking classes on their campus. CMC, you suck. That space was not marked for CMC students only.
Fortunately I am working some extra hours this week (this being one of them, ahahaha) although the extra salary I will make does not cover the cost of the ticket. D:
I am so glad I live off campus this year. Parking was bad enough last semester, it's even worse now. And my car has now become essential to my social life, since all my new friends live a million billion miles away and none of them can be arsed to come out here.
Schoolwork is okay but askdlkc; I am becoming a frayed mess between school and social life which is a million miles away and working what is essentially three jobs. Despite my careful scrimping of my schedule to assure down time I have none. Please cool down a bit, life!
