Heh, pretty much what I did, except that I woke up, said to myself "Wow, I bet that was an earthquake" and then immediately went back to sleep. I never would have remembered it in the morning if not for the article.
That's pretty much what I did on experiancing my only earthquake--woke up, heard a rumbling, thought "Hey, that sounds like an earthquake" and then went back to sleep. Heard about it later on the news. Your Uncle Jim was awake but didn't notice a thing....and Massachusetts just doesn't have that many earthquakes that one would want ot miss one!
