New icons, and why is everyone in the LE fandom so obsessed with Alex Lowe? This is like, the only Klaus icon I could find in the entirety of Livejournal. Wtf is wrong with people? He's cute, he's brave, he's talented, and he's a sweetheart! What's not to love?

I agree. Alex is okay, if the usual tormented dark-haired hero, but Claus...

However, I admit that Wonder Boy (Dio) did eventually grow on me. And I remain convinced--well, I won't spoil anything for you if you've not seen the entire series. But Dio rocks, just not immediately.

I wouldn't mind a Claus icon with "Immelman!" on it. ;D

Mind you, I haven't seen the whole thing, so it's possible that I will be Very Moved by Alex's inevitable Terrible Angst. But in the meantime, his constant dramatic posing is just irritating. "All right, all right, already, you're the shit, we get it. You can turn down the dramatic backlighting and cape-blowing wind."

Yeah, well, when you find out the deal with Alex, it makes more sense why he looks the way he does--not so much the 'dark mysterious one' but just someone who's very, very weary. (At least, that's the way he struck me, at first. Very tired, and not quite really able to see the point of things but holding on to one last attempt.)

I'm not sure I'd say I was moved by Alex's inevitable angst, because it's rightfully overshadowed by the results of that angst being discovered by characters more in teh foreground. Really, no character gets away, 'cept mebbe... crap, Natalie? Natasha? What's the other navi's name? Hmm, maybe we should point AsukaK in direction of LE; there's some serious angst-yuri floating under the surface there. *snerk*

One of the dvds comes with postcards, I can look through them and scan the ones with Klaus and send them to you to make your own, if you like.

S'ok. :) I do like this one, I was just astounded by the dearth of Klaus icons, particularly in comparison to the profusion of Alex and Dio icons. @_@ But mostly Alex.
