And I'm so glad
you finally decided to come
Another day and I could've gone mad
Another day and it might have gotten bad
Another day and I might have betrayed
every scruple I had
Ah, where was I? Oh yes, classes.
Have now have one of each of my classes. I'm pretty optomistic so far.
Philosophy of science -- I get a happy feeling looking at the syllabus for this. The prof seems to be a technogeek (his beard is dyed purple) who likes to do everything online. Aside from a textbook or two, all the class readings are online articles -- and in fact, the quizzes are also online. Now that's a format I can work with. *computer hoor*
Science & tech in the ancient world -- feels a great deal like sci & tech in the early modern world, really. XD Same prof, same class structure. Lots of reading, lots of little assignments, but nothing too difficult.
Physiology of psychology -- maybe it's just the way the prof talked about it in the first class, but it looks like it's going to be very practical, lab-oriented. We're each going to get a rat and practice neuroscience on it. The prof assured the class that we would be very careful not to cause the rats any pain, although there was a moment of alarm on the part of the class before we managed to sort out that "deeply anesthetized" actually meant "euthanized" and we would not in fact be running the rat's brain through a blender while it was still alive.
Advanced japanese section B -- More of the same as last semester. Which is not entirely good news -- god, this subject is hard :( -- but at least I have a good handle on what to expect and how to prepare for it.
Now back to play more Diablo II. I started a new character yesterday, an Amazon -- never played one of those before. Was rather dubious about her effectiveness until I got the multiple shot skill. Pow! She's tall, blond, and muscular. I've named her Winry.
[edit] And my little fridgebox is entirely too powerful. ;_; It's on the lowest setting and there are ice chips floating in my soda.
[edit 2] Bike riding sores! Ow!

Date: 2005-01-20 02:38 am (UTC)The Barbarian is the best fighter-class; the Assassin is the worst. The Paladin is meh. I had great fun with the Sorceress -- with what other class can you kill Diablo using a first-level spell? ^_~
