a plague of kittens!
Jun. 11th, 2003 01:48 amSpeaking of cats...
I found a little black kitten in our back yard yesterday. She was much too young to be out on her own, and none of the neighbors report losing a kitten, so we think somebody might have dumped her out of a car or something. She was shy and skittish, but she didn't try and run away very much. We brought her inside and put her in the spare bathroom, a place where there aren't too many places to hide. I gave her a bowl with as much food as I give the adult cats, and she ate it all. She's very bony, but whether that's hungry-bony or just kitten-bony I don't know.
My friend is going to call her work place (she lives at a camp) and see if she can get permission to take her up there to live as camp mascot. If not, we'll probably keep her for a day or so then take her out to the SPCA. Poor thing. She was just starting to relax a little around me and my friend last night.
In other news, we watched Yami no Matsuei until 1:30 AM. Good stuff. ^_^
