of cats and rats.... mousies

My job-searching today took me inside the pet store next to the grocery. They had kittens! *swoony sigh* Alas, they were not hiring. But I hung around for a few minutes playing with the kitties. One of them appeared to be in a cage alone, and was ignoring me, pouncing on and playing with a little rug-like piece of cloth that was bunched up on the floor. It wasn't until I looked back a few minutes later and there were *two* kittens. One of them was hiding under the rug... v. cute...

In other news, this mouse squeaks. O_o Every time I click, it makes a little creaky noise. Somewhere between amused and annoyed...
