kanji quiz
Oct. 14th, 2004 11:29 amTo continue with the previous entry's theme of academic triumph: Undoubtedly you've ehard me complaining a little (or a lot, depending on how lcosely you pay attention) about Japanese. The truth is that I've been hovering at or below the failing level since the beginning of the semester -- that is, on test and homework grades. Fortunately a great deal of the class grade is measured in things like attendance, participation, and effort, so I'm not ACTUALLY failing. Still, it's disenheartening to get back an average of 60% on most of my tests.
Well, recently one of my classmates IM'd me about this study tool that came out for the Mac, called iFlash. She'd even already entered all of this unit's kanji into them. Okay, thought I, since she's gone to all the trouble, I'll definitely do my best to study with it.
Took the kanji quiz yesterday, got it back today. 37/40.
OMFG THAT'S OVER 90%.
I cannot express how happy this makes me. I really can't. Eliza, you rock!
