In other news...

I AM SUCH AN IDIOT! *smacks head on desk*

I got the Card Captor Sakura movies the other day, and watched the first one last night. I was so pleased by it that I thought oysterverse ought to get the chance to watch it -- she'd seen the second one, but not the first. So, I put the movie + Netlix envelope in another envelop and mailed it off to her, figuring she could send it off in its own envelope after she'd watched it.

Today, I go to watch the second movie, and what do I find? The first movie. I sent off the second one, the one that she's seen and I haven't. IDIOT! GAH!

[edit] Two idiocies make a right. Not only did I put the wrong movie in the large envelope, but I also completely forgot to mail the envelope. Ah ha ha...

There are a lot of really cool things about this movie. The imagery in particular is gorgeous. The themes are solid and the plot makes sense. It's a little light on character development, probably because it goes between the two movies, but that hardly makes it a bad movie -- just that it's best viewed in the context of everything else that happens.

Plus we get to see Syaoran making kickass use of his Clow Cards. And we meet his family. So awesome!
