Because you know how much you just love those. =D

Paid icons expired earlier this evening, so I'm back to 15. It's almost a relief -- with 50 I never knew which one to use.

Have pared it down to my favorites, plus a few new ones.

Two of Ed, because he is THE COOLEST PERSON FROM THE COOLEST SHOW EVER. by which I mean EBAR.

Plus he's so very expressive.

And one which seems to have been sitting around in my files for a while but never got its chance in the sun... It may end up kicked out of the 15 anyway.

Hee.

Oh and just in case you missed it:
BEST ANIME EVAR.

OMG the first ed icon is just so cool. *admires the detail and the way the mini movie is inserted*

and the IM screen is funny as hell XD

A trifle outdated, but that's fine. >_>

Unfortunately, the pervy icon didn't make the cut. ^^; I'll stick with this one for pervy entries.

Two questions -

1. What anime is this?

2. If it's so freaking great, why didn't you sit me down and make me watch it when I was visiting?

1) Full Metal Alchemist. BEST ANIME EVER BABY.

2) We hadn't started watching it yet.

Cartoon Network is scheduled to start showing the dub in October, and the DVDs are supposed to start coming out in January. (I'd recommend holding out for/getting your hands on subs. I'm not averse to dubs on principle, but A) there's no word yet on dub quality, and B) the Japanese voice acting in this is really good--Mikke and I both noticed it immediately--and I'm skeptical that they'll find anyone as talented as Ed's original seiyuu.)

Ooh, I can't wait to see this series. Even if I have to see it on CN.

Unless they maim it beyond recognition, I'm sure a dub version is worth seeing.

Even if the dub turned out to be high quality, I'd still recommend the sub, though--just on the grounds that Paku Romi, the seiyuu for the protagonist, is extremely talented. I simply can't imagine anyone else doing Ed justice. While there's plenty of cool major characters besides Ed, the show is about him. If you're not wild about the idea of buying DVDs sight unseen, I'd suggest renting them through Blockbuster or Netflix--I honestly think it's worth paying to see the sub, in this case. (As soon as they come out, those DVDs will definitely be on my Christmas list.)

2. Because we hadn't seen it then and didn't realize how good it was.

3. Also, we have 30+ episodes, and you were only here for two days.

I am very tempted to make an icon like your death icon, since it's using trillian... And I just like the idea :P

If you like, you can have it... I'm uploading it now because I think it's great and I want it to be active, but as I'm back to lmited space, I'd rather have another icon in its place.

You make me actually want to watch Full Metal Panic... I have a couple eps but havn't gotten around to it. Oh I thought that was a girl!
*laughs at the death icon*
Did LJ up the maximum user icons and I missed it? I thought it was 3 for unpaid and 9 for paid...

The current limit is 3 for unpaid and 15 for paid.

What do you have? Full Metal Panic, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, or Full Metal Alchemist? They're three very different shows. FMP is a mecha/war show; it might be perfectly good as far as I know, but I haven't seen it. FMP: Fumoffu is a school comedy. FMA is something entirely different!

Ed: WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT THAT THEY COULD ONLY BE MISTAKEN FOR A GIRL!?!?

Eto, maa, just ignore him. ^^;

OH, this is Full Metal Alchemist? Sorry I got them confused then, I know little about either. I had heard of the FMA manga but I didn't realize it was an anime too, which is why I thought you meant FMP. I've never even heard of FMPF O.O
Um... yeah... looks like I have more stuff to download...

I'm not sure on the order of causatuion there, but I've never seen the manga -- only the anime. *_* And it is THAT which I said was best ever.

FMPF is just the second season of FMP, same characters and all, only with none of the... angsty military plot stuff. ^^;

Downloading FMA now will be difficult, since it's been liscenced.

*has the first 4 eps queued and partially downloaded on WinMX*
If I like it I'll get the DVD tho...

I have no idea which came first... I'm not really up on new anime anymore, but its even harder to keep track of new Japanese manga.
