Just to prove the axiom that no matter what you can find an idiot to say, you can find two more who can't agree. I LOVE Millie's fangs. And Ozy's, even more. It's one of the things that first attracted me to your strip. I have a deep-rooted childhood love for talking foxes (probably born of one too many viewings of Disney's "Robin Hood,") and to this day, seeing those tiny fangs flash as they talk sets me off in such a fit of EEEE OMG CUTE that I nearly fall out of my chair.
Fangs are cute. Fangs RULE.
Peace out.
Sincerely,

Date: 2004-01-27 07:46 am (UTC)If you've been following the discussion on his LJ lately -- I'm actually of the opinion that short, pudgy Ozy is MUCH cuter than (and superior to) new, anorexic Ozy. But I haven't bothered to inform DC of my opinion because it really doesn't matter what I think. He didn't change his drawing style on purpose, but he likes new Ozy better, and being "cute" is not one of his goals. As some other commenter on his journal said, the strip is his own artistic journey and we are just lucky to be along for the ride -- it's not some product I'm paying for, and therefore if my opinions are neither complimentary nor useful in some way, I'll keep them to myself.
Nice choice of music, BTW.
