So... sick.

So... my cough has finally settled down deep enough to rattle my ribcage with each spasm, instead of just scraping across the top layers of my lungs with each dry hack. Is this an improvement?

Getting sick, I guess, was moderately inevitable. There were several bugs of various severity going around Claremont before I left, and my leaving activities involved such experiences as going out to eat in a mall food court with a whole lot of people and then staying three hours in a crowded room with at least a hundred potential carriers. Combine that to my extreme stress, lack of sleep, lack of food, etc., and it was hardly a surprise that the illness would pounce as soon as the stress let up.

So... I get to transmit my cough to everyone on the East Coast! Whee!

*hugs* Food and sleep have not been in short supply since I came home (or at least only in that my parents have a house full of food which is not real food,) but the real kicker is that I keep being called out to help people move/go outside at night (in sub-freezing temperatures) to unload moving vans, etc.
