A good birthday

So I received many well-wishes from people and family members on this birthday, including cards from my sisters, an e-card from my aunt and uncle, and a visit from my parents! They were only in Toyama for three days -- friday, saturday, and sunday -- but on the 18th we went to see the kite festival in Daimon. It was lots of fun, we had festival food and I bought a kite and flew it.

Altogether it was a much better birthday than last year's, when I was frantically correcting essays while having food poisoning. XD Maybe next year I will manage to have no medical crises associated with my birthday weekend at all! ;)
