More dental news
Jan. 24th, 2008 10:36 amWell, I went to the dentist on monday. Some anxieties were relieved. I was able to get an appointment (right away actually!) the cost of a checkup was almost appallingly low, and the dentist actually speaks a fair amount of English.
On the down side... It appears that that tooth is rotting away under the cap, and I will have to get a root canal on it. I can't say I'm really surprised. I knew it was one of the teeth with caps on it; if something was wrong despite the cap a root canal was pretty much the only possible outcome.

So to make sure I have these details straight, when I go back to the dentist on Friday my supervisor will come along with me to translate.
In the meantime, I am taking the bus every day to school; although the toothache doesn't bother me much most of the time, it hurts like hell in the cold.
