Mar. 10th, 2004 10:34 amI've only been out of bed twenty minutes, and it's already been a day for ups and downs.
Down: I woke up five minutes after my 10'00 class was supposed to start, and had to hare it down to Pomona without even reviewing the kanji sheet the quiz was going to be on.
Up: When I got there, the class was cancelled. As a matter of fact, all my classes today have been cancelled.
Down: They've been cancelled because of hate crimes on campus.
Apparently, there was some kind of speech/consortium last night, and when the guest speaker came out, she found that her car windows had been smashed, her tires cut, and hate words spray-painted all over her car. Took place on the CMC campus, bikkuri bikkuri. Though I suppose it's not entirely fair to leap to conclusions, since it could have been students of any campus, really.
I doubt I will go to attend any of the gathering/events today, although now I'm feeling the urge to write an essay/rant.
