So happy...
So, I was all disenheartened recently when I looked at my fall school schedule and discovered that our fall break is the weekend of the 19th, not the 12th. I thought I wasn't going to be able to explore San Fransisco as I had planned that weekend. Somehow I'd forgotten that Yaoi-Con is also on that weekend...

Things are looking up. I have my computer back (yay!) and it's all internet-savvy. There are still some things I lack -- namely a fan, a refrigerator (important things during this 98-degree weather) a couple of Japanese textbooks, and, umm... that'll do for a start, anyway.

I've been to at least one of all my classes already, and so far they all look quite nifty. Although since I'm taking Bioethics, Intro to Sci, Tech and Soc, and Psychology, there's a lot of overlap. I left from Bioethics today to go to ISTS and felt like I was in the same class, different profs. Whew. Nevertheless, I feel it's good to get several different perspectives -- the perspectives of three different schools and four different professors. So it will probably be quite exciting.

For those of you who want to try and catch me around, the basic breakdown of my schedule is somewhat thus. Monday and Wednesday, I have morning class but nothing after 1:00 or so. Tuesday and Thursday -- especially Thursday -- I have class pretty much all day, so don't expect to see me before late. I have four classes, and all of them are on different campuses, so it's simply not worth coming back to Pitz between classes. Friday, I actually have no classes at all, though I still have to go down to Oldenborg for lunch. Three times a week, it's a requirement for my JP class. Unfortunately, Oldenborg food bites the big one. Yuck. まずいです!

Speaking of Japanese, I discovered two things: One, that I seem to have forgotten everything I ever knew, and two, that what I can remember of Japanese I keep mixing up with French. @_@ Or should I say, "Nihongo to Furansugo wa watashi no atama ni hitotsu narimasu."

Yikes.

There's a bunch of other stuff which is sort of getting pushed out of my head now.

Oh, yeah. I decided to just go ahead and order a subscription for Discover magazine. I think with the classes I've got lined up, it might be a good idea. Plus Discover just kicks ass!

Um... jobs. I applied for four, hopefully at least one of them will hire me. 9_9
